mTrip Travel Guides (Offline) App Reviews

I used this application before for Hong Kong, London and Washington and was very happy but Lisbon edition is beyond poor. For Lisbon, there is hardly any content available for different city attractions - when you click on the "abstract", you realize that the abstract is all you get! Before there were links to Wikipedia pages but not even that! Definitely not worth the 5€, I should have better thrown it out of the window, at least the person who would find it would be happy.

We loved using this on our trip to Rome. User friendly, detailed instructions, information on attractions. Helpful hints and reliable directions. Best travel application I have ever used.

Very nice app. However, the favoris module does not work :( so very hard to do the itinerary

The map directions are almost always wrong and are always imprecise. Completely useless.

I found it good, but when we buy the full version the fotos from places dont appear when we make an itinerary

It is really helpful and easy to use. It could have more options to make it more practical - like exchange a place from one day to another, but is generally very good. The map breaks constantly whem checking itinerary. Didnt get better in the latest version. I use iPhone 5S, so the problem shouldnt be the gadget...

The best feature is the ability to easily visualise the sights in the map and organise your itinerary accordingly. But it keeps crashing repeatedly! It awful! And it does not keep all the informations (like description, address) of the places you add to the app... The infos do not sync with other devices and desapears if you have to reinstall the app. Not good...

I bought several mtrip City Guides as stand alone Apps. Now mtrip decided to bring a new combined app and (edit) and Not retiring the old per-City Apps. Restoring previous purchases not possible, but ok as long as the separate apps work

I recently returned from a solo-trip around Europe which included stops in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Venice, Florence, Rome & Barcelona. The MTrip apps were a life saver for planning my itineraries & finding my way around. All of the maps and features are off-line & saved me from expensive data-roaming charges. Just be sure to update the app before you leave incase there are updates to the database. Each city already has an extensive database of attractions, but you can also add in your own if something isnt already listed. Thanks for the wonderful app!

This app made my traveling so much easier, fun, and save my time!

I’ve used Mtrip guides for a few cities and it is fabulous! The offline maps work seamlessly and the ability to see the amount of time it will take to get from one location to the next is great. I especially like the fact that if a site you want to see isn’t uploaded you can create your own, including adding photos and information. I had an issue with one of the hotels not registering so I contacted customer service and they were not only extremely helpful, but efficient in getting the problem fixed. I can’t imagine that you would need anything else from an itinerary map, this one has it all!!

Awesome app! I bought the Rome guide and it was very helpful. It was my first time in Europe and I spent a week in beautiful Rome! I was able to make an in-app itinerary, and mark places that I wanted to visit on a map. The offline maps worked great and being able to search for a street was super helpful -- and I never got lost! The only thing I would ask if you guys could change that when you select "directions" and then hit "location on map" that your "favourite" places show up when youre pinpointing a spot on the map to make it easier. Thanks guys for enhancing my incredible Rome experience :)

Not enough cities.where is Kiev , Athens and many more. We like the app but its limited cities. Would give more stars when they add more cities.also its becoming more and more expensive? Why

So, after purchasing two mtrip individual city apps for $5.99 each, I learn that a replacement app is out that requires $3.99 in-app purchase to use each of the cities Ive already paid for! Apple needs to clamp down on companies that abuse the App Store (eg, frequent updates of bad apps to bury reviews (no longer "current"), adding advertising to paid apps after purchase, and this - replacing paid apps and expecting customers to pay twice! I like mtrip, but there are more ethical companies offering fine alternatives!

I ve used Mtrip at San Francisco and liked it. So I bought it for 2 other locations. Its well done and user friendly. cheaper than a book guide. This new app aggregates all the new city guides in the same app instead of 1 app per city which I think is much better (past purchases are not lost but dont go in this new app). a must have for travelers like me!
